Mena Alexa Suvari, born 1979. She is a famous American fashion designer, model and actor. After beginning her career as a model, she transitioned into acting after appearing in guest roles on 1990's programs on television like Boy Meets World and High Incident. In 1997 she made her acting debut as an actor in the film Nowhere. With her performances as a character in American Beauty - for which she was nominated to receive an award called a BAFTA Award - and American Pie and American Pie, which earned her greater attention, she transitioned into bigger roles. The year 2000 saw her appeared alongside her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. She then played the lead part for the role of Sugar & Spice (2000). The year 2002 saw her appeared in Spun the drama that was made by an independent studio as well as the 2004 thriller, Trauma. The other films she appeared in include HBO's series Six Feet Under. In 2008, she was featured in a variety of films, including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as in the adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari was featured in fashion-related blogs and in various magazines like Vogue as well as Lancome Paris Adaptive print ads. She's been an advocate for and champion for the African Medical and Research Foundation.
