Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. Since gaining fame with his role on Road Trip, he's appeared in more than 20 films. This includes The New Guy Hustle & Flow, The Core and The New Guy Hustle & Flow. In addition, he's appeared in over 22 shows, including Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has been diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is an extremely resilient fighter. Following two years of treatment the cancer was cured. His body was badly affected by the treatment and his development was slowed down. As he got older, financial security seemed to be the ultimate goal since the experience of poverty was a constant throughout his childhood. When I've lived in such a shabby way over the years, I must have this financial safety. In the absence of it, everything seems to be beyond my control. Also, looking back to his youth and his desire to do something about the bullying issue. The cruelty of bullying breaks my heart, he says. The perfect DJ role is that of a real father. The director admits that they aren't able to put DJ in such characters. He would like to become a dad one day, to be able to devote more time to his son as well as his professional.
